  • In 1910, with only a few cases of hand-set type and a platen press Grandview Printing was established to serve the printing needs of Commercial Drive and the rest of the Grandview area.

Forty years later, while sharing space with the Highland Echo Newspaper at 1464 Commercial Drive, the two companies decided to merge and become one. That’s when the company re-located to its present location at 1720 Graveley Street (one block north of 1st Avenue and just off of Commercial Drive).

The years took us from hot metal type to photo-typesetting to computer typesetting. We retired our letter presses (except for one, which we still use for numbering and perforating) in 1972 in exchange for offset presses.

A few years ago we became a chemistry free shop with the addition of our CTP (computer to plate) Heidelberg Suprasetter. Recently we added a digital press to our list of equipment. This allows for short run, same day printing at an affordable price. With years of experience in designing, printing and publishing, you can count on us to handle your print project from beginning to end. We’ll meet your deadline every time.
