Eastside Culture Crawl

November 19 – 22 | Weekday 5:00 – 10:00 pm | Weekend 11:00 am 6:00 pm

Eastside Arts Society presents the 30th Annual Eastside Culture Crawl, celebrating the diversity of artist studio spaces across the Eastside Arts District.

In 2025, the festival welcomed visitors into the studios and workshops of more than 500 artists across 80+ buildings — including 20 new locations, marking a 25% increase in opportunities to explore the breadth of creative work throughout the district.

Alongside the Crawl, Eastside Arts Society hosted a series of special events, including the annual Take Flight fundraiser — a key contributor to keeping the festival free for the public. Highlights included Art Roulette, where guests took home original pieces donated by local artists, as well as a silent auction featuring unique experiences from community partners.

The Commercial Drive Business Society is proud to support this beloved cultural event and looks forward to sharing more details about the 2026 Crawl as they’re announced. For updates and more information, visit culturecrawl.ca.

EASTSIDE CULTURE CRAWL

ART AGAINST STIGMA

Since 2003, The Kettle Society has proudly participated in the Eastside Culture Crawl through its large-scale exhibition, Art Against Stigma. Most recently hosted at The Recovery Café (620 Clark Drive), the space was transformed into a floor-to-ceiling gallery showcasing work by artists with lived experience of mental illness.

The exhibition featured hundreds of pieces by more than 50 local artists, all available for purchase, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the creators. By ensuring artists retained full ownership of their work and earnings, every dollar from each sale was returned to them.

Art Against Stigma was created to challenge misconceptions and foster understanding around mental illness through creativity, connection, and community. For more information, visit thekettle.ca.
