CDBS: Annual General Meeting
The Commercial Drive Business Society invites all members to participate in our Annual General Meeting (AGM)—a key opportunity to stay informed, have your voice heard, and contribute to the future of The Drive’s Business Improvement Area (BIA).
2026 AGM NOTICE
The Annual General Meeting of the Commercial Drive Business Society will take place on Thursday, October 1, at 7:00 PM in the Mezzanine Amenity Room, Britannia Community Centre Ice Rink. Members may attend in-person or virtually. Please note: Registration is required for all attendees.
As required by the by-laws, the current year AGM package will be mailed to members in early September.

BOARD NOMINATIONS
Interested in joining the CDBS Board? Complete the online Nomination Form and submit it by email or Canada Post to the CDBS mailing address. Nominations must be submitted by a voting member in good standing and seconded by two additional voting members in good standing. All forms must be received by the nomination deadline.
VOTING MEMBER BY PROXY
If you’re unable to attend the AGM and wish to have another member in good standing vote on your behalf, please complete the online Proxy Form and return it by email or Canada Post to the CDBS mailing address. All forms must be received by the nomination deadline.
To vote, you must be a member in good standing and either own or lease a Class 5 or 6 property within the BIA catchment for at least six months prior to the AGM, or hold a lease with an unexpired term of no less than six months. Please note: No individual may hold more than 10 proxy votes at the AGM. One vote per proxy only.
REGISTER TO ATTEND (IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL)
To attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM), you must register in advance. Submit the Registration Form by 6:00 PM on the day of the AGM. Doors (and virtual check-in) open at 6:30 PM. The meeting begins promptly at 7:00 PM. Virtual attendees will receive login credentials prior to the meeting. Please note: late or unregistered attendees will not be admitted.
