The Commercial Drive Business Society invites all members to participate in our Annual General Meeting (AGM)—a key opportunity to stay informed, have your voice heard, and contribute to the future of The Drive’s Business Improvement Area (BIA).
2025 AGM NOTICE
The Annual General Meeting of the Commercial Drive Business Society will take place on Wednesday, October 1, at 7:00 PM in the Mezzanine Amenity Room, Britannia Community Centre Ice Rink. Members may attend in-person or virtually. Please note: Registration is required for all attendees.

BOARD NOMINATIONS
Interested in joining the CDBS Board? Complete the online Nomination Form and submit it by email or Canada Post to the CDBS mailing address. Nominations must be submitted by a voting member in good standing and seconded by two additional voting members in good standing. Forms must be received by September 2nd.
VOTING MEMBER BY PROXY
If you’re unable to attend the AGM and wish to have another member in good standing vote on your behalf, please complete the online Proxy Form and return it by email or Canada Post to the CDBS mailing address. Forms must be received by September 29th, and all fields must be completed.
To vote, you must be a member in good standing and either own or lease a Class 5 or 6 property within the BIA catchment for at least six months prior to the AGM, or hold a lease with an unexpired term of no less than six months. Please note: No individual may hold more than 10 proxy votes at the AGM. One vote per proxy only.
REGISTER TO ATTEND IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY
To register, complete the online Membership Form and return it by email no later than 6:00 PM on October 1st. Doors (and virtual check-in) open at 6:30 PM, with the meeting starting promptly at 7:00 PM. Virtual attendees will receive login credentials prior to the meeting. Please note: late or unregistered attendees will not be admitted.
