The theme for Italian Day on The Drive 2026 is CAMPIONE — Italian for Champion.
In Italian culture, Campione represents heart, pride, perseverance, and passion. It reflects Italy’s deep love of sport, art, fashion, food, wine, and community — and honours those who rise with strength and spirit.
That champion energy feels especially fitting for Commercial Drive. From legendary World Cup wins celebrated curbside, to generations gathering in cafés, bars, and piazzas to cheer together, The Drive has always been a place where champions are made — and celebrated.
